An accomplished CFO for investment banks in London and Dubai for over 2 decades, an international author on modern etiquette, and consultant principal in high value etiquette for both women and men. Beyond her corporate endeavors, a speaker and visiting lecturer in entreprenurship, she's is a compassionate founder & ceo of a charity Merciful Hands (now in its 10th year) dedicated to alleviating hunger from children, women and blue collar workers, whilst also supporting women of domestic violence. Passionate about the environment is an innovative entrepreneur in sustainable vegetarian, zero-waste fashion, cruelty free and promotes wellness. Driven by a deep-rooted passion for public service on community and national level, Siama's journey is intricately woven with a desire to give back to the communities that have shaped her. Central to her ethos is the fervent belief that empowering women with fair and equal representation is not just a noble pursuit but the most impactful investment in our present and future. We are beyond thrilled to celebrate Sarah Hope as Josei's Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Board! 🎉 Sarah is a powerhouse in the world of structured finance, currently leading East Side Advisory as Managing Director and Founder, where she provides bespoke capital markets and strategic fundraising advisory to start-up and scale-up Fintechs and non-bank lenders across Europe — championing ethical lenders who are reshaping finance for the better, for consumers, small businesses, and the planet alike. Her board portfolio reads like a masterclass in governance: Non-Executive Director at Salad Money (Chair of the Remuneration & Nomination Committee, Member of the Audit & Risk Committee) and Trustee at Cure Leukaemia, where she also chairs the Corporate Development Board — all while training and fundraising for the London2Paris cycling challenge in support of life-saving clinical trials. Sarah holds a BA in Economics-Political Science from Columbia University. Sarah has been the driving force as Chairperson of Josei's Board since September 2024, steering our mission with the same strategic rigour, integrity, and heart she brings to every boardroom she sits in. Amy Kooner
Non Executive Director

Amirta Kaur Kooner (Amy) is a senior finance professional with extensive experience in financial stewardship, governance, and strategic oversight across complex, multi-entity investment management businesses. She currently serves as Finance Director at Zetland Capital Partners, having previously held senior roles at Intermediate Capital Group and Bridgepoint, where she built deep technical expertise in group reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial control within publicly listed investment management firms. Amy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Simon Fraser University and qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) at PricewaterhouseCoopers within the Audit and Assurance Group in Vancouver, Canada. Amy is deeply passionate about improving financial literacy and confidence for women, which is what drew her to Josei's mission. She believes financial empowerment is fundamental to independence, mental wellbeing, and confidence for all women, regardless of background — and that Josei's holistic approach, integrating financial education with wellness, self-confidence, and community, closely aligns with her own values and professional expertise. Dr Ibiyemi Omeihe
Non Executive Director

Dr Ibiyemi Omeihe is a Lecturer in the School of Business and Creative Industries at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS), where she leads the MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the MSc Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chain Management — UWS's first dual degree programme. An award-winning academic, Dr Omeihe has been recognised by UWS, the Scottish Association of Minority Ethnic Educators, and the UK Council for International Student Affairs for her contributions to teaching, inclusion, and student success in higher education. Beyond the classroom, she plays an active role in shaping research, policy, and practice, holding leadership positions within the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the British Academy of Management, and the Academy of African Studies. Her work spans entrepreneurship, leadership, and education across both local and international contexts. Dr Omeihe brings this rich academic and policy expertise to Josei, supporting the organisation's mission to advance financial literacy, education, and empowerment for women.
